Ok I got an error testing it with pust to talk it said invalid floating point error

ok i got this ive been testing it here is the total problem

I got a friend on unplugged my mic and speakers and pressed my button to talk the button lighted up and he could hear the music that i was playing on the computer

then i tired plugging in my mic in and when i pressed the button he couldent hear me when i talked he said it made a sound like pacman eating the little white dots

so then i tried the self test thing in the settings with/out mic and i hear this siren type sound that goes over and over and over and over and never stops till i let go of the button

i get none of the problems when i do speak to talk thingy and i cant hear myself eaither

it's not teamspeak it's a sound setting in your operating system like what you hear or something like that

I did a test and here is what i concluded

1. I opened up TS

2. I press my button to talk and it makes that wierd sound.

3. I opened up windows media player and played a song with the sound all the way up in the player and my friends could hear the music

4. I then turned down the sound all they way my friends told me they could no loger hear the music

So I conclude that the wierd sound that it makes is my sound card cuase as long as its on is putting out sound so i say that my sound card is taking the sound from my computer and not the mic how do i fix this
