I have already encountered a couple problems with the linux client.

1) the default menu fonts are well, not good. They are too big and unreadable.. The only reason I could browse through them is because I am familiar with the windows version. Please support something like gtk or gtk2 so the linux people can use the client easier.

2) the settings i set are never remembered. I go into my server list, add a server, configure my voice input/output settings. Close the program (without killing it) and it forgets everything i set! This is highly annoying and it shouldn't happen.

Those are my only two complaints, thanks for providing free voip for us though, thats totally awesome.

I think developers have a lot of improvements planned for Linux Teamspeak 3.
Probably optional Alsa,Arts etc. sound options, support for kde/gnome dock applet and so on....

Btw menu fonts are perfectly readable for me. Maybe it's something with window manager, cause I know Teamspeak looks slightly different in Each window manager (I use KDE most of the time but for gaming I use WIndowMaker or MatchBox cause they don't use much RAM).

Personally I'm very happy the developers offer such a great piece of software for free. Way to go !

My main complaint with TeamSpeak2 is lack of ALSA support - the most-used sound daemon for Linux. Sadly, I can either hear everything but TeamSpeak, or I can hear TeamSpeak. I prefer the former.

GTK2 support would also be amazing.

TeamSpeak 2 uses Qt as a toolkit. I don't see how using gtk instead would change alot (except that it would look more "like a gnome app" versus "like a kde app"). Ofcourse, the qt version used is hopelessly outdated (it was from the start, which is a while back), which leads to ugliness in fonts (missing anti-aliasing etc.).
We are working on TeamSpeak 3 currently which will use a "state of the art" toolkit for the GUI, and should look "better" and integrate more smoothly into your desktop(s).
