I'm using the newest TS client, Windows XP SP 1, Sound Blaster Live Audigy. This is the first game I have encountered this problem.
Whenever I start up World of Warcraft, my voice sounds like a robot in Team Speak. Does anyone know a way to correct this? This is the only game I have the problem with.
are all you system driver up to date ? get your drivers at the manufactors web sites then retest , allso test if ts is on a onboard sound card and game is using the other if it still causes troubles
I am have the exact same problem!
When I am using TeamSpeak normally, I am sounding quite fine in Teamspeak.
However, when I am opening Wow, I sound very wierd, or as some of the other people has described it. "Like you are talking from the buttom of a deep pit".
And it is really getting on my nerves!
I am using a Creative Soundblaster Audigy 2, with newest drivers.
Made sure that any kind of EAX or other Mixer controlls has been disabled.
I disabled my Onboard soundcard directly from the BIOS.
But here's the catch. I bought this new Audigy soundcard, because I had the exact same problem with my Onboard sound chip!
yes, I even tried reinstalling Windows! :(
Help if you can!
The problem I have is something similar. When I'm playing World of Warcraft I usually decide to get on TS while playing the game, so I go back to windows and run it, connect to server, say hi to the people on there. At this point they can hear me ok. Then I go back to WoW and after a while of playing + talking over TS suddenly everyone on the TS server complains about an extremely loud noise they hear whenever I try to talk. They can't hear a word I'm saying, just very loud static.
How do I solve this? I have a Creative Soundblaster Live! soundcard. Should I just buy a new one or something?
Please help!
