DirectInput error

As soon as I start Teamspeak, I receive the error
An undetermined error occurred inside the DirectInput subsystem. This value is equal to the E_FAIL standard COM return value.

The TSClient.log reads
30-11-04 19:18:42,3748,WARNING,All,TDIKeyInterceptor.create ,Exception Exception: An undetermined error occurred inside the DirectInput subsystem. This value is equal to the E_FAIL standard COM return value.


I just downloaded RC2 v2.0.32.60 today (twice, even). I'm running XP(SP2), with a Sigmatel C-Major Audio card, 512 Mb RAM, 60GB harddrive space. Everything's updated. I am spyware/malware/virus free.

I've run TS before on this system, but it was pre-SP2, and not on this same installation of windows.

After I click "OK" TS seems to load alright, and I can connect to my test server (which was up and running, no problem). The test server is on my webhosting machine, not local. Once it's been running for a bit, I can't click on anything (though it recognizes me as talking), and it looks as though the window focus is elsewhere - menus/titlebar are greyed out.

I'm not using TS inside of a game (yet), but when I do, that game shall be Freelancer.

I've seen several other posts here, concerning the same problem in the forum, but nothing with any helpful answers.

you have updated directX, grafic drivers, sound ?


OT: wow, somone still palying freelancer ? do you know some good mods ? My girlfriend an me play sometimes in our LAN some fights.

ok this process was the problem

i was wrong this process nvsvc32.exe is the problem

this one is---->MSSWCHX.EXE, it starts automaticly when u start osk.exe, and i had osk to start at the logon screen and that process never got shut down, cuz if u open osk manually and then close it that process gets closed


after disabling it all was working fine, i was having some problems in games like swat 4 (bombing out error- when starting the game) and red faction guerilla,cuz of this process, i also tried installing newest and older drivers but without success, before i found out this process was causing problem
