1. Open Creative Surround Mixer or Windows mixer
2. Configure TS and start playing your game
3. When your TS and your sounds stop, don't quit the game, but ALT-Tab to windows to look at the Mixer
4. Are your mixer settings the same as when you started the game, or have they changed by themselves?
If they have changed by themselves, you hare suffering from the same problem as I am (no solution known yet).
hhm i will give it a try.
ever tested wave or direct sound in TS ?
oke have tried the direct sound option but it doesn't help it is a wired prob. i can't find anything at the logbook of windows. has anyone a clou ????

depending on OS you can do as i do in win 2000 i use the zs2 7.1 card for games and ts by it's self on a onboard sound card with it's own speakers and mic
hhm but i have bought the zs2 for the reason that my voice over the onboard soundcard was very bad. with the zs2 its much better. i have headphones zo in the config of dtm2 i have a surroundsound force disable option on.

oke i think i found the prob.
after i was so tired and sick of the no sound prob i was deinstalling dtm2, first the demo and then i saw it there was a realtec ac '97 software installed. since a have deinstalled that i haven't had the prob. so i hope it's solved now !!!!! lets play
sorry for blaming ts, its a good prog

Oh, you blamed TS?
From my reading of the post you hid it well.
As far as I could see you had a problem that involved your sound. TS was running at the time you had problem. You came here and maybe also went to forums of the other programs and hardwares involved and eventually you perceivered in finding a/the solution.
Is that not what forums are for? I just hope you got as much help from the other forums.
To address the TS problem statement.....Well in my opinion, TS is what it is, and sure it has a few bugs come up from time to time and when they are found they are registered with a bug fixing registry and project manager. There are also many many suggestions that people would like to be included, some even deemed as unsuitable for the purpose of teamspeak, well sorry Teamspeak can't do your laundry nor should it.
By in far the biggest problem with TeamSpeak is the fact that it is so good, so comprehensive, so readily available, and so economical that so many people want to use it and want all they interact with to use it no matter what level or area of computer experience they may have.
I applaud your diligence and Thank you for posting your solution.
