OK, my pc was slowing down a bit so I reinstalled windows. I am running XP with SP2 and a SB Live! card. When I start TS it tells me TDSoundIn.Open: No sound driver is available for use. I am by far NOT a forum n00b and have tried most everything I could find by searching the forum. I HAVE tried Direct Sound, no go, I have tried reinstalling the program, and my sounnd drivers, no go, I have deleted the teamspeak.conf, no go. My drivers are loaded and I have sound but under the Sound Devices tab in settings, my creative card is not showing up, where it did before I reinstalled windows. This problem is really kicking my butt. Plz help if u can!

you tested direct and wave sound ? ...then I can only assume it's a problem with the driver ?
Are you really using the latest driver for your sound card. Did you reinstalled directX after installing the driver ?

by the way, can you record with the win wave recorder ?

I am actually having the exact same problem. When I switched it to Direct Sound I can now hear... but no one can hear me.

Anyone have any thoughts?
