View Full Version : Not hearing anything from other pilots

Other parties can hear me but I can not hear them. The system did work fine when I first installed TS. But since I up-dated IvAp it is giving me problems. Can anyone help me please! I have Sound Blaster Live 64bit and have tried all different settings. Do not think it is the sound card because it worked before, I’m convinced itTeamspeak

your up-date may of changed a setting eather in ts inpu /output or in the operating systems sound propertys

All my settings are as they were before I up-dated IvAp the problem may not be IvAp as it does not effect voice settigs I'm told, so must be something to do with TS. I just downloaded TS again, uninstalled it and reinstalled but no differance or improvement. I can hear music from mediaplayer, aircraft sounds from FS 9.1 and other sounds like the lady announcing members joining and leaving but no sent voice messages from controllers or other players. There must be a solution to this problem. ATC and other players in MSFS can hear me thats all.

Please help. :confused:

look for a hidden file calles "teamspeak.conf" (NOT in the TS folder, enable search for hidden files).
Deleted this file which contains all TS client personal data. If the problem persits, it's most surely not a TS problem but a driver, IvAp (what's that ?),... problem.

Tested as well wave or direct sound in TS ?

Deleted “Teamspeak.conf”
Uninstalled TeamSpeak.
Reinstall TeamSpeak
Set to wave.
Selected my Sound Blaster system.
Selected talk button.
Entered Connection of choice.
Connected
Tested and worked.
Thank you very much for your help, and all you do for us VA pilots to be able to communicate with each other. Much appreciated to know we can get help when needed.
