When I am in our teamspeak server erverybody can hear me perfect...
But when they are talking, they hear themself back....
I thought it was becouse my sound was to loud, but when I put is off, there still is an echo :mad: Even when i have the sound off, and the microphone plugged out, it still is :eek:
Does somebody know how to fix it?

in your operating systems sound propertys is the setting "what you hear" checked if so un-check it

I am having the same exact problem also. All Drivers are updated, all ports opened and hear yourself is unchecked. Help!

Go to your sound properties and "MUTE" your mic. Silly as it seems, your audio controls works separetly from Team Speak More than likey what their hearing is feedback through your mic when they talk. Try and find a convienient key to toggle your voice with "I push down on my mouse wheel". Them talking may be triggering your mic to come on accedently and repeating everything they say.

Just remember that your mic is muted if you use some other voice activated programs or stuff like Net to Phone, incase you need your mic "unmuted".

also check your system for other sound devices.

I have seen USB web cams that also have built in microphones.

Hey Guys,

Thx for the response. As It runs out I went to my friends house with my headphones and switched em out and the problem disappeared. Now the only time I hear an echo is when we both talk at the same time but I can deal with that. FYI for other people having this problem avoid multi-purpose headphones. For example my buddies advertised that they can be used for a cellphone or, with an adapter, used on the computer. I think this is were the proplem orginated from.
