[12:33:35] Got a bad response from the server

Hello, I am having problems trying to connect to any team speak server, it gives me the following when I try to put in a ip address " [12:33:35] Got a bad response from the server" also when I try and look on the list, it says error getting list.

I am running on xp home editing, any ideas why this is happending to me?

If you have a firewall your client may not have access or the server list server i'm guessing that might exist could be temperaraly down.

I turned off all of the fire walls I know of on my computer, and I know that the server is up, because my friends r on that server, and this problem has been happending for the past week

I'm not reffering to your friend's server. I'm saying that it could be some server that keeps a list of all the teamspeak servers. It could also be just like my isp, and they block your ports cause it looks like a trojen and they're too lazy to ask before blocking.
