when i made my server it said i had 1 ip then i had to reinstall now it says i have two ips how do i change it back to the one ip :mad: :mad: :( :mad: :( :(
you can't cause TS has no IP (PS: amazone sells good books like "TCP/IP for dummies").
TS is an application, not an IP interface. Applications uses IP interface to open connections,...
TS tries to detect all your IP interfaces when it startes. Depending on how many network cards you have in your PC, it detects IP addresses to which the TS server listens (TS listens to all IP's per default).
Usually TS listes a LAN IP and (sometimes) a WAN IP (see FAQ for detection of WAN IP).
Now to your question: you can turn the external IP detection off (if I remember correct), but this has not the slightes impact. TS will then not display the IP to you but if your port is open, still every one can connect by this IP... so what are you lookign for ????
