Hi everyone :)

I love TeamSpeak and have had several successful connections.

My problem at the moment is trying to connect with a new group of friends. I actually successfully login but get booted out 2 seconds later every time.

Here is a sample of what gets displayed every time:

[17:47:22] Connecting to xx.xx.xx.xx:8767
[17:47:22] Connected to server <servername>
[17:47:22] [Welcome to Teamspeak, check www.teamspeak.org ]
[17:47:24] Connection timed out

Any clues? I can connect and join my other firends just fine. This baffles me.

get timeout, try the client in the debug mode

Thanks for trying to help. I tried debug mode. Not sure what that is supposed to do but the exact same thing is still happening. 2 seconds after joining I get booted.

What should I do now?

does it do this to all servers you try or just this 1 ?
could be a firewall closing conection after it connects ?

My friend is having te same problem. I am hosting the server and he can't join. This is not because of my router, everybody else can join. I don't know what to do we even tried DMZ with his router. Help?

to join your own server within your own LAN: read the FAQ (no replay) !

Your friend: joining a server doesn't requires a port forwarding nor a DMZ feature. Also read the same FAQ thread and do what's proposed there (Firewall, debug mode, bind the server to it's LAN IP,...).
