Is there a chinese version of ts developing underway?

hey, i was just wondering if there is a chinese version of teamspeak being translated underway. I notice that most of the people who uses ts are american and germans. I am chinese who is currently living in us. that doesn't matter, what matters is if there isn't one. I want to be the translator. so admin, plz email me and give me some detail about it. i have no problem hard codin in java. however, ya might have certain software that might make the job easier to do

Sorry. While I am no developer, I'd have to give an educated guess and say No. I sincerely doubt a Chinese version will be made. There is a good chance a bunch of other languages might, but with the completely different characters chinese have from languages of Latin descent makes it highly unlikely. It would be difficult not only to convert, but to display in a friendly GUI. The characters would either be positioned incorrectly from how they should be read, or the program will have to be heavily modified to support the configuration of the language.

well ts3 is in the works . and ts2 will not work with ts3 so i dont think the dev team is going to spend any time on this . also ts3 is being coded in a "C" based program , as i read in a post by dev team ,so it will also work for mac's and winblows same time . release set for 1st Q of 2005 . and with ts3 not ready . i know the devs will never release the source code your stuck with the english / german version for now . maybe after the ts3 release , my guess ??? your offer to translate to chinese may be take up then .

ts3 will be easily translatable... we won't put any time into ts2, as m&m's said.
