Email from admin?

Hi i received an email from the admin@teamspeak.com
With the following:

Dear Teamspeak user.

Your server (IP: 69.93.91.242:8778) has been discovered to be running without
licence.

A member of the Teamspeak Admins will visit your server tonight to ask you to
follow some simple steps.

Please complete these steps to prevent your server from being permanently shut
down.

He came on our ts server i followed the steps and he has registered an account on our server what we got from you guys...
I don't have a good feeling about this: What to do?

it's bogus under no situation right click the users name and hit "E" or alt-P-E both do the same thing..... it will give the user (SA) to your server and the next step is to ban you from your own server or revoke your (SA) while they kick/ban all your users . rename the channels to you got owned by the ***** or some other B-S . if the ts admins want your server off line they can do it from there pc without a right click E trick

congrat, you hav been cheated (as many other gullible server admin) :(

see the hacked server thread in the FAQ. Make sure ALL unwanted accounts are deleted on your server by going through the user list in the webinterface.
If unsure, you best setup the TS server complety new (delete server.dbs, .log, .ini and restart the server. Of course, you best backup these three files)



A free hint: in the www you better follow ANY bad feeling you have about something and do not blindly trust anyone. There are too many people around only tring to find some fools.

I removed his registration...
But I found it strange when a get an email from admin@goteamspeak.com.
He joined our password protected TS... How did he know our password? We don't publish it.
Maby this guy can hack TS servers...

maybe he was in a game server when you told someone else , or a member told him while in a game come to our ts server ip x.x.x.x password is bla now who ever was in the game at that time knows your password .
how do i come up with this, well i will tell ya, you would be in ts alone if you did not invite others to your server in some way or another
