I would like a pre recorded message that would play when people enter a server.

A text message would be cool or maybe better, a text message with the server rules and such.

I guess if you have recording ability, this isn't so tough to add. You just record something on the client, and then upload it to the server, perhaps using an admin function. Because the file is just a packet capture, the server can just play it out to the client as if it were another client talking.

How do you implement it? :confused: I was just looking at the list of events that you can assign sounds to, but I didn't find one for welcome message. I found one for connect and disconnect, but this is only on your local client, not specific to the server. Please elaborate. :D

a "pre-recorded message" usually is taken as referring to audio.

Do you mean the normal message like: [Welcome to TeamSpeak, check www.goteamspeak-com]

Go to you webpanel http://localhost:14534 or http://SERVER_IP:14534
Login with your ServerAdmin Account and click on the Serversettings.
Then edit your ServerWelcomeMessage.

If you want an extended normally in red font. Use the perlmod for it.
Use the search of the forum to find it or go to www.come2play.org

But you need superadmin access to let the perlmod work.

prerecorded...maybe but a welcome msg with implanted rules :) i'll take that. right now my default channel description,i use for the server rules. a welcome msg with server rules.....i'd like that :rolleyes:
