How do you get a channel to stay?

I'm a Server Administrator and I was just wondering how I could get a lot of channels at once to stay. They always go away after I leave the channel, and it doesn't look like there's an option to keep it there.

EDIT: I figured out that you can make them stay by making them default channels and keep doing that and so on, but it only lets me make up to four. To make others you want sub-channels right?

the default channel is the channel you log in to lobby if you will ... checking the registered box keeps the channel after the last person leaves the channel.
