TS worked fine for weeks, now all of the sudden it doesnt. I can hear everyone just fine, but they can't hear me. I can use the record feature in TS, and my mic works fine (I can record something through TS, and then play it back to myself).

All my drivers are updated, etc.

Mic is selected in Windows. I can record myself, in TS, and also in the windows recording device, so the mic is working correctly.

If it makes any difference, the TS server is running windows 2000 proffessional, and I am running XP Home. My roomate has no trouble, and he is running 2000 proffessional.

I tried the Wave/Direct sound in TS.

The problem solved itself for a few days, but has flared back up again.

are you switching back and forth between 2 app's needing the use of the mic , if you are the second app is switching your sound mixer setting on you , and not remembering/switching them back for ts

Nah, not using two programs that require the mic.

But, I did clock my system down to stock levels, and it works fine now. I guess I should have tried that first (even though i have pci/agp locks, and I used a 5/4 divider on the ram). Its weird that the overclocking only affected TS, and nothing else that used the mic. We'll see how it goes, and if the probelm comes back at stock speeds.
