Should i get a headset w/mic that connects to a USB2.0 or a two plug jack(one to the mic and on the headset). Not sure which will work best. My sound card came built onto the motherboard.

my pers. suggestion would be to not get a USB mic as I've read several threads where people have probs which such mics.

Be aware that onboard sound chips offer usually very poor quality and tend to cause problems, not necessary but if you ran into probs, don't forget about your "cheap sound solution" which could be the real source of problems. Consider buying a real sound card if required.
