Is there a beta version of TS3? and if not will there be one?
If so I would be willing to test it, and very happy to do so.

Ditto ... I have an entire squad that would love to see some new stuff, so we'd be willing to test server-client with keybindings etcetc (since we use them heavily). Coupled with the ability to do something like control TS remotely (including signals for PTT/Keybindings) it would be awesome.

the ***** want a copy of it too i bet ! we know the goonies post hear under differant names , and would love to find new ways to get admin from a server
as a rule devs team will ask you "as stated by them in a post a while back" , not you ask them . and will only ask those they feel they can trust i bet

I am only willing to help, and I would make an educated guess that because of your post that the TS development team will now not wish to give me that chance.
I am always willing to give people a chamce, and people with over 2000 posts like yourself deserve a certain amount of respect, but I am losing that respect rapidly because you seem set on stickin your nose in with un-nessecary comments.
I just run a clan site for call of duty www.underground-killers.co.uk and am offering my help, what more can I say, buit that I woukld be honoured to help in the development of TS3.
just passing on info I read in another post by dev team a while back is all ! I read every english post in this fourm to know this. the ts team will ask who ever they want . my post will not stop them from asking you or anyone else lol . but common since says they will most likely choose people they know well , have chatted with in there teamspeak and such for years .
yes I have 2,000 + posts and I don't even expect them to ask me . 1. I don't use there TEAMSPEAK server to chat with them i don't even know the ip to it 2. they don't know me besides from my posts and a few pm's i can count one one hand . but thats not knowing someone is it
if they do they do . if they don't , I will download it when it is ready like everyone else , but I will pick thru it and look thru it so I can post help just like I do now , but it may not be the day it comes out lol

As I did in TS2 beta testing I will serve again if asked.
And like so many, I do not expect to get asked and will download it when it comes available.
interested in checking out the SDK and see if past work on plugins has to be totally redone ....not that they ever got finished anyway :rolleyes:

wasn't that the initial statement ? 1Q 2005 is actually in some month.
Looks liek the DEV do not want to commit an exact release date which is in most cases anyway a bad thing as you either get an unfinished or untested version at those commited dates. So let's have patience... I'm sure we all can read it in the news when TS3 is ready to be "shipped" or we'll get a note when people are requested as beta testers ;)

august would be the end of the second quarter , and still not bad considering all versions need to be realeased same time , ts2 will not work with the new ts3 if memery serves me :rolleyes:

Well, I hope TS3 is all the good things of TS2 and more. Just made differant. Simpler defaults for new users whould be a big plus and lend to a better first impression. Either way I plan on digging in a bit. ;)

Well, we only have a few days left in August and it looks like we will not see any TS3. According to THIS PAGE (http://www.teamspeak-systems.de/ts/company.php?lang=en&action=history) it was planned for...
The release of Teamspeak 3 is planned for the first half of 2005.
It has been going on 3 years since TS2 was released and I think many people are wondering what's going on based on some of the posts if you do a simple search. Hence the reason I posted in this one where a team member says...

Nothing should take 3 years to work on like this. I think it's time to sell or donate the code to someone else who can start working on it and make it better for users. That's just my 2 cents though. I am sure you are all going to say something like... stfu and do a search or it comes out when it comes out, etc. We could have EA come out with a similar program that would work in 3 years time. ;)
