what would the server hoster say. A lot more disk space required,.... and I see only a very small gain out of this feature. Mail, ICQ,.... a lot more tools for this purpose are available.

I don't know if this is a good idea for a voice tool like TS, probably an overkill ??

Maybe a little over but it would be nice as icq msn aim u cant leave a message if they are not online. And saving it as a low quality audio file would not take much space i dont think(not ans expert).

Could u not make a limit on space for the message on the drive and once played delete it? Also like I said it could be just text. But voice would be nicer. :)

thats exactyl the problem: thousands of features / functions would be cool, and of course one could implement a disk space quota,.... :rolleyes:
But the implementation, testing, debugging,.... takes a lot of time. Why not concentrate on the important features ?

Still, it would be a cool feature in certain cases....

Imagine you return from vacation, connect to your Teamspeak server and hear something like this:

lol, you would have to limit the access to be able to record messegs. I volenteer my server to test it. I have a dedicated server i can test it on NP. Sign me up for alpha and beta.

But you also make me ask what features are impotant. What is more important to a voice communications software the voice communication functions and features.

But do keep upt the good work I am sure what u guys put together will be great.

Ya Cracker and how would they make this "filter". Email spam filters work by looking for key words and phrases in the subject and content areas.. How do you filter a voice.. You would have to code a filter that would work in conjuction with a speech to text engine. Then make the filter pick up words like "penis" and other words that you wanted. I have a idea..why don'nt you make the filter.....contribute to the effort. If you want something bad enough code it yourself..why do you need to bug the dev team. I love people like you... you don't know a damn thing about coding yet you are the first one in line to whine and complain about a program bug or glitch. Why don't you thank the dev team for supplying you with a wonderful free program you can use for FREE. Start contributing somehow and stop bugging these over worked coders with your gibberish. Go troll somewhere esle. As far as coders go.. if the dev team needs any talented coders let me know.. I am available...

IDK how we got to spam but like i said just control access to this give it only to regesterd users or admins only. NO SPAM then.

Just like any messageing service only thisng u get is form people u let in
