PLEASE PLEASE PLEEEAAASE make Voice Masking available!

I think TS is a really cool idea, but I don't like the idea that people are hearing my real voice, especially since I'm only 17 yrs. old. I want to be able to sound just like everyone else.

If voice masking was ever put into TS. I would SOOO use it!

People would only ever want a voice masker to irritate other people, and I for one would be dead against it.

What does it gain?

If your embarrased about your voice then dont talk on TS, or put a cloth over your mic or summit.

I understand your hesitance (sp?) to use your own voice in TS but keep several things in mind.

1) More than likely the peeps will NEVER see you in real life so why does it matter if they hear your voice?

2) TS2 transmits much like your average telephone does. Why does that matter Well.. ever notice how people sound a little different in person than they do over the phone? It's not the speaker in the phone that distorts the voice slightly, but the fact that only a small bandwidth of the speaker's voice is transmitted over the line to your receiver. So.. TS2 uses the same idea. I mean.. how much of a frequency range is needed to understand what a human is saying? Not much..and certainly it's only a FRACTION of what your ears can detect. So..why spend all the extra bandwidth of your connection transmitting/receiving extra sounds when they are not essential to understanding the speaker.

So..what does all this mean?

Stop worrying and spend some time looking up the technology, you'll be amazed with what you'll learn. :) Wanna be worried about something? Go to the sex offender registration site for your state and see how many registered sex offenders live in your neighborhood. :eek:
