I play an MMORPG and my clan/guild asked me to set up a TS server. I told them sure. I have been working on this for about 5 hours now and am losing my mind.
Ok here is the issue. I am attempting to set up the windows verson. I have the Server up and running. I can connect with my LIP (Lan IP), but no one can connect form the EIP (External IP). Please help.
Things I have done:
I have a Netgear RP114 4 port DSL Router.
I have forwareded ports 8767-8768.
I recycled the Router after I set up the forwarding.
I called and asked my buddy who has a TS server up and running only on Linux to scan my ports (using Nmap) he told me ports 8768-8768 where not open. Him and I tinkered for about an hour before he had to go, no success.
Ok so my question is 2 fold.
1) How do I get those ports open.
2) Is there anything else wrong.
I will leave my server running. So you can try to connect.
EIP 141.149.242.100
LIP 192.168.0.2

If there is anything else you want to know let me know.
Oh I will be playing the MMORPG, and running the TS Server on the same machine. Do you think there will be an issue.
