Hello all, Ive read all the FAQ's, I have all the right ports opened and I am still unable to connect to my TS Server. My setup is I have 2 computers, both connected to a hub running to a cable modem. Each comp has its own IP address and both are behind Blackice. I have a gamming server running off the same comp and I can connect to it fine, as well as others. But with the TS Server running off that comp, I cannot connect to it from this comp. I see it in the World list but I cant connect, it says its not responding. Anyone have any ideas to what is going on? Thanks in advance.

Why don't you try to connet to the LAN IP ? I am guessing here but this sounds as if you try to connect to the external IP ?

Umm, they are two different computers on two different IP addresses.

So what is the internal Server IP ?
What is the internal Client IP ?

I have a similar issue. I run the TS server RC2 on an internal PC. Running the client on the same PC works fine and connects as expected.. I have UDP 8767 open for port forwarding on my router to the PC hosting the server. Users cannot connect to my server but get a bad logon or password error message returned if when using anonymous user. Clients are also RC2.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

PS I host my own Exchange server and web server from home and use port forwarding ( TCP 25 and 80 ) to the respective internal servers so I am sure port forwarding is working OK.

- are you using the actual TS server version, pls post the versions for client and server you are using
- is there a firewall in use ? tested without ?

Could the server be requiring a password that these users aren't supplying?

Donno, maybe Ill figure this out at some point lol. I just dont understand why I can run other server's off the same box and connect to them fine on this comp, but when I use TS Server, I cant connect to it from this comp.
