One thing that I really think you should add is ALSA support for the linux client. This is most wanted since a have a "cheap" nforce integrated soundcard and my budget cannot afford getting a better card.
Messages sent directly to a player should cause some kind of alert at the receiver, a sound, a popup etc. But not something that disturbs to much.
I have experienced people who did not notice getting a message lots of times.
For me, the result of this is that I never use test-messages in teamspeak. And that makes the implementation of text messages pretty much useless for me. (I don't know if anybody else feels the same way)
These text messages come in handy in cases where for example my mic is broken, or I cannot talk because I'm on the phone etc. And it is most frustrating that I have to tell my buddies that I have sent them a text-message. :)
I also think that the logging of players join/quit/changed channel should show people joining/quitting etc. no matter what channel other players are in. (At least for Server Admins)
Registered nicknames should be reserved for the username and password it is registered to, it should not be possible to fakenick with a registered nickname.
Possibility to change microphone volume in TeamSpeak, not only in windows.
Maybe also have the opportunity to change other peoples volume. How loud you should hear them, since people differ greatly in loudness.(Because of hardware, software and social behaviour :) )
That's all folks :P
