Help Creating Server!

I use a linksys router and I followed all the instructions from another post in this forum, but was unsucessful in connecting to my server. Could someone give me step-by-step instructions as to creating/setting up/connecting to my server.

If your server is installed on your lan, can you connect using its lan ip address?
If your server is installed on your own pc, can you connect to it using ip address 127.0.0.1?
can you grab a jpg screen grab of your port forwarding setup screen for teamspeak and post it back here?

Using 127.0.0.1 worked!

lol that's not a fix, it was just a test. The true test is if your mates can connect to you.

You now know your server is working, you just need to know whether you've set up your router correctly.
