Hello my first post is the only way to keep the TS server up is to have a pc on all the time???

Unless you have a PC that can run programs when it is off you need a computer that is on and connected to the internet 24/7 if you want your TS server to run continuously.

...or you rent a TS server.


I'm starting to wonder if we need a FAQ about "the possibility to to run a PC without having the PC started" (Are you able to watch TV programs while your TV is turned off,.... ?).
I allwasy thought this is a silly question, but this is not the first time someone asks if this is possible so there is actually confusion :confused:

I thnk you should add it to the FAQ, this is the 2nd time I have seen such a question. Do people seriously not know how things work nowadays?

Beeing able to run servers while all power to the server PC is shut down, will help the humankind to safe a lot of power and make you very rich.

Well, I sort of lied. It is being powered by an internal perpetual motion machine... it just isn't plugged in, that's all...
