I've got a server setup, and people sharing the same ISP as myself can join, but others using different ones can't. Anyone who can shed any light on this, it would be much appriciated. I'm sorry if this question is answered in the FAQ, but I've read it and it doesn't make any sense to me.

Your ISP may have the TS server port blocked on their edge router. May send them an email and ask of they are blocking the port(s) that your TS server is using.

you're hopefully not one of the unlucky guy who's ISP assigns external IP addresses from the private IP range ?
Could you post your external IP (the one you give to your friends not within your LAN), you may leave away the last three digits ?

Then it's probably a problem on your ISP side. Have you asked them (I'd still let a friend from a diff. ISP do a port scann just to see if your ISP blocks the TS port) ?

- could you describe the error your friends get a little bit more detailed (timeout,...) ?
