View Full Version : real 64bit-support [Linux]
Come on, why don't you give us a 64bit-binary? Or compile a 32bit-Binary working with newesr libs on amd64?
It does not make sense if I can play CS and not use TS2 or I can use TS2 but not CS unless I do dirty tricks that mess up my system....

Do 32-bit programs not work on a 64-bit system? Is there no compatibility library for programs linked against 32-bit libraries?
I'd guess that TS is one of the rare programs that might benefit from a 64-bit native build, simply because it probably copies a lot of data around, and the 64-bit memory move instructions would be more efficient than their 32-bit counterparts. OTOH, the memcpy in the compatibility library might be coded to use 64-bit instructions internally.

we do it after you showed us how kylix can do a 64 binary.
if you cant show that to us, you have to wait for ts3...
