So does starting a Server cost money?

Im a little confused as to how they phrased their statements. It seems as though if you download the TSserver client and use it for more than 6 months you will be billed. I was under the impression that this was free software, unless of course im wrong. :confused:

If your usage is not "commercial usage" as defined on the licensing page it's free for use.

The TS Client is free.

But to to run a TS SERVER for profit or included in a package in which a profit is made, is not not free.
To run a TS Server for friends or no profit in any way shape or form is free.

Hello and sry, but my english is very bad :(

I have one Question:
I will make Servers for the Online-Game, that i play (Citykampf)

The Root is to get 32Servers for the Alliances from the Game.
All of the Servers are free for the Users, and we don´t get donate.

We have only fun on the Game and we wants to get a better Community for all of us...


If we make this, must we paid something for the Server?!
Or can we use it for free/donate?!

(If you can, answer in german :o )
