Hi, I recently reformatted my comp and have installed SP2 and all driver updates.
For some reason my mic wont work, I hear fuzzy sounds but it wont record anything.
Under Playback I have Volume Control and Wave both selected and maxed and I also have Microphone selected and muted.
Under Recording I have Microphone selected and maxed.
I have a Realtek AC'97 Audio.
Also when I try to Test Hardware I get an error saying "An error occurred during DirectPlay Voice setup. The error code is 0x80004005." And then it says "Windows cannot execute DpvSetup.exe, use Add/Remove Programs control panel to install." I checked Add and Remove Programs but it wasn't in there.
