Ok, here is how it went down. I have used TS for about 2 years now with my fellow gamers without a hitch (at least for me). A couple of nights ago I did the unthinkable. I updated my Audigy Gamer's driver (At least to their latest driver. It had been a while). Everything seemed to go well until I went onto our TS server. Everyone on the server started complaining about serious echoing.
So the attempt to fix the problem was on. I first tried rolling back my drivers. Same problem.
Next I completely unistalled my card using a reg cleaner afterword to make sure I was clean. I then reinstalled my card with my last revision of the Audigy driver. Now I couldn't get my mic to work in TS. All of my settings for TeamSpeak were the same and all of my XP settings for the mic were as well.
I then completely uninstalled TS and backed up my TeamSpeak.conf file. After reinstalling TS I still had the same problem with my mic.
Next I completely removed my card once again and reinstalled it with the driver from my original CD. No workie!
I then reinstalled DirectX 9.0C on my system. Of course same problem.
Last night I did the ole' format C: and reinstalled XP Pro. After loading everything back up I still can't get my mic to work in TeamSpeak.
Okay, any ideas as to what my next step should be? I need my voice comms....... :(
Thanks - MP
System setup:
XP Pro SP2
P4 2.4
9800 Pro 128 - cat 5.2
Audigy Gamer - Audigy Driver – AUD_EAX4DRV_031031
