Greetings to all you TS user out there .....just wondering if any of you have experienced this problem ......
I run a private server , and I use TS client to log into my own server to talk with other buddies ( all normal , everything is cool no problems)
I have been logging into another websites Clan server as well for the past 4-5 months as well , no problems ......all of a sudden I can no longer log into the Clan server ( and I am not Banned from there , they are confused as much as I am ??? )
I keep getting this message ;

[22:51:43]Connecting to 67.18.68.202:8767
No Reply from server
Maybe the server is offline
or maybe teamspeak is not running on it

So then I setup the Debug setting and here is the report that Im getting :

Does anybody out there know why .. and how I can fix this ???
When I setup my own server people can log in and I can log into other servers ...just not the one that I really need to !!

Please help

You are sure you have not recently applied any Software upgrades to your System ( ie SP2 on XP ) or installed a Software Firewall ?

Try changing the TS Client from using Wav to DirectSound or vice versa ( Settings -> Options )

No I have not made any changes . I'm running Win XP SP1 , Im behind a Dlink DI604 router (with all the proper settings , as I can log into any other TS server , just not this one)

Hardware is :

AMD XP3200
1Gig RAM
Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro2 Mobo
BFG 6800 GT 256 Mb video
Audigy2 ZS Plat. Pro audio

I have removed my
C:\Documents and Settings\[USERNAME]\Application Data\teamspeak2\TeamSpeak.Conf
file and tryed to relog ....but still no luck

can you ping that server ?

It is up..I tested it so it can be the route ( ie your ISP ) .

Yes I can and I get a average 81ms turnaround ......and I can connect on the same IP number that we are using for the game as well , just not TS

Are you on a TS server some place that I can talk to you about this ? Broder ?

I belive there were cases where even in the debug mode a timeout issue could not be solved. Earlier client versions seemed to be less timeout restrictive. You might wanne try an older version (ftp://ftp.freenet.de/pub/4players/teamspeak.org/releases/)

Well I tryed that as well , got the Virus warning for the dll thing ...yes I know about that from previous installs .
However im still getting the same issue error cannot connect. etc. etc.
If I was to call my internet provider and request a new IP # would that perhaps fix things ?

if it is a static IP I think that might be a bit troublesome but certainly worth a try.

To see if there is large latency between the hops try

pathping 67.18.68.202

at a command prompt.

Wait unitl it is completely finished ( it can take up to 5 mins ) and paste the output here.

Look at the trace..you are not getting past 192.168.51.17 !

That is a local IP so the error is somewhere in the LAN rather than the WAN.

All the IP's until Hop 4 are reserverd IP's like stated in RFC1918 wich means they are NOT on the Internet but only for local use.

You are not by any chance in a University or something like that and using their LAN ?

If so check with the Network Admin
