A few ideas...

I want to start by saying that TS is a great program and I am very happy that it is free.

I think that TS should have more AIM-like features. Perhaps an AFK message for a user to enter. Also, a small file transfer utility incorperated into TS would be very useful.

Also, when two people talk at once and they dont have headphones, you hear yourself talking and its really annoying. I think that there should be an admin option to set for each channel that either makes people talk one at a time, lets higher-level people talk over lower-level people, and also and option to keep TS like it is now.

Also, in a post that I read, I heard that there is a mod that allows you to type in text just like AIM would also. That should also be included into the next version.

It is my friends b-day today, and it just gave me the idea of posting it in the server description. Howeber, nobody really looks there, its never all that important. I was thinking that you can have a popup window showing the server details or just a public message for each channel when you join. The admin can edit the message to show up or not, and also what it says. I've seen something like this on LeapFTP and mIRC.

why would you add file transfers to a chat app any way. like host companys want people eating away at there bandwith for files that can be sent in your e-mail or msn , yahoo and so on .

if you add it you better add a box to turn it off for sever admins or i for 1 will stay useing ts2 . i dont need the lagg file transfers will add to ts when there are more then plenty of ways allready to send junk back and forth

i was refering to brain as not being a dev but a respected member when i stated not all are devs !
