View Full Version : Callbacks/Client Notification
I'm sure I speak for a lot of people when I request this, so here goes.
We developers would like a notification whenever someone speaks. We want to know the playerid at least, and possibly the channel they are in.
You are already doing that in the client. Could you move it to the TSRemote.dll and hook the event in the client, so we can have this feature too?
Thanks!
James
try this you can see whos talking http://www.teamspeakoverlay.com/
I'm more interested in the development side than the user side.
I really don't like hacking to get information that should be available using the proper technique. Being a developer at work as well, I see enough hacking to know that I don't want to do it at home too! :D
the overlay was made so you can see while in game whos talking , and you call it a hack , it was delevoped for ts by some one like your self , so players can see whos chatting
I'm not calling TS Overlay a hack...I'm calling what a developer, who wants to do what we're talking about has to do. Don't read me wrong here. I'm not interested in USING software, I'm interested in DEVELOPING software, and I really don't like HACKING to do it.
that is all...

if all goes well with TeamSpeak 3 you will be more than happy with the "development" side [building pluging/scripts/tools], since we know how much a tool like TeamSpeak can gain from the ideas of its community (as can already be seen with TeamSpeak 2, even though it lacks many of the more powerful hooks that we hope to provide with TS 3).
