This is for a friend so I don't have lots of details. Hopefully someone has seen this before - it isn't in the FAQ. Running XP, typical cheapo microphone.
When speaking in TS his volume goes up and down. It sounds very much like someone is turning a volume knob up and down from normal volume to very quiet. The complete cycle is 3 seconds or so and it is continuous. There is no static or distortion. The voice is very clear, just varying in volume. We are a gaming team and nobody else has a problem.
Any ideas?
