TS mutes my mic!

teamspeak automaticly and CONSTENTLY has my mic muted, it will not unmute for shit. i unistalled and reinstalled it. nothing. plz help.

A little more information would help here, like what is you sound card, or is it on board?
I've seen this happen to alot of people.

Hello, I recently got a new system and I am in the process of trying to transfer programs. After I downloaded and installed TS2 and installed the client I found I was unable to unmute the mic in TS.

With both my regular account and a guest account on that system it describes my mike a muted both in the icon and the player attributes.

Doing this on my old system has no problems with either account.

With a little playing I was able to run my mike through my system and out my speakers, so I know that works. I just cannot unmute myself, and I the normal command to mute/unmute has no effect.

Both my old and new system are running windows XP.

I already checked that, the problem is not with the mic, the problem is the TS is always muted. I have verifed that the mic does work though.

switch from direct to wave , vice versa , selected the right inputs out puts ?

That did it, I could not support the wave sound on my new computer. Switching to direct sound fixed it. Thanks

Hi, i got the same problem, TS mutes my mic and I cant unmute it, but my system is running on Win2k.

I tried to switch from Wave to Direct Sound. But everytime I leave the option window and I open it again, the old options (wave) are active. I already tried other options, but the others where saved. And I aplied the options before i left the window by hitting the OK button.

If i try to check the soundoptions, I cant activate the mic. I always tried to activate it by "push to talk".

And yes, allready tried to reinstall TS, and I checked the windows sound options.

thx, but this was not the problem...

I found in another thread a solution. I´am using fraps, and if FRAPS is already running and TS is starded after FRAPS, you´ll get this problems. But if I run first TS and then FRAPS I can yuse both programs.
