Problem hearing others

I need some help. TS had always worked for me no problem before, but I hadn't used it in about 4 months. I've been searching the forums and done a few things to try to fix it, but have yet to find a solution. Ok when I first joined the room everything I was saying was being echoed as if the other person was saying it. I managed to fix that problem, but the thing that has not changed is that I can't hear anyone. They can all hear me, but I can't hear them. I see their light lighting up, but no sound from them. I hear the member joined alerts etc though. I'm out of ideas and could really use some help. Thanks

in the settings tab / sound input/output output volume the slider needs to be to the far right side of that slider set to max

Nerami, sorry I can't help with your problem, but I'm having the other problem you fixed. Everything I say to my brother gets transmitted back to me. I hear all his in-game sounds (we were playing MoHAA). Drives me crazy. I think the problem is on his end, as I don't get the "talk back" when I use Teasmspeak in IL2FB with my squad mates. I sure could use what you've figured out.
