I've been using TS without a glitch for the last year on my TravelMate 803 LCi except from the random guy complaining about static. All tests I've run excluded the mic from being the source of the static so I tried updating my sound drivers just for kicks. That turned out to be a bad idea since now nobody can hear me over TS. Also if I try and record myself speaking, the resulting .wav will also be silent. I don't get any error message and can hear everyone else fine. I can record them fine as well. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. I've also tried switching form Wave to DirectSound, again to no avail. Any help appreciated.
