It would be great if Teamspeak implemented some sort of basic Whiteboard system, so that everyone in a channel could draw pictures over an image and everyone else could see it. I know there is other whiteboard systems out there, but between the members of my clan we've tried over 20 different types, and none of them work very well. All we want to be able to do is upload an image of the game map, and be able to draw lines and text on it so that everone in channel can see. This would make explaining tactics so much easier.

Cheers guys, and keep up the good work.

Sounds like you're looking for a conferencing system, like Netmeeting.

hmmm, I imagine this would be a bit harder to implement, as TS3 focusses on Win, Linux and Mac, still it's a good idea to have something like that... we'll see...

Some kind of distributed image viewer would be really nice. Basically something that could refresh a window with a new image for a group of viewers under the control of a "presenter". It could be very simple, the point being to provide a form of "slide show" for a group of chatters. This would be very useful for pre-battle briefings and planning sessions.

A very crude example would use cut down image browser, and the presenter would first distribute a url, with the first image being loaded. Images would have to be named specifically, something like 000.jpg, 001.jpg, etc... The presenter could then cycle forward or back through the images, which would typically be maps or game photos of target positions.

Cursor movement over the image would also be nice, so the presenter could point at stuff during the briefing.

This is really out of the scope of the Voice program that TS is focused on, but not so much out of the Game comms platform that it might someday become.

I do this right now by making a series of web pages and linking them with next and prev buttons, and then saying "next" to the group being briefed.

The main advantage I can think of is for clan practices. Setting up points of attack for a tactical advantage. You throw a map up and set up strategies for it. It would be an awesome training tool for clans who are in to league play. Well that's my 2 cents worth of input on it. If it doesn't come out with TS3, which I'm sure it won't. You can make it available as a plugin or something of that nature.
