I took a log, and this was showing up numerous times.

16-03-05 15:37:54,3472,WARNING,All,procedure TDICallBack.execute,"The operation had no effect." or "The device buffer overflowed and some input was lost." or "The device exists but is not currently attached." or "The change in device properties had no effect."

any idea what this means?

sounds like your try to connect to your own server within your lan with the realworld "wan" ip ... use the lan ip to a pc inside your lan i.e a 192.168.x.x or a 10.x.x.x # OR if both the server and the client are on same pc use the loopback ip of 127.0.0.1

Thanks for the info, but the only problem is that i don't know how to do what you're saying

Could you do me a huge favor and explain how to do that?

The router i use is a Gigafast EE400-R if that helps.

rigth click your server icon and look for the ip that starts with 192.168.?.? if there are 2 ip's there the oter is your realworld ip and you hand that 1 out to others to use . them with the ip go to connect place the ip in the box allong with nic name ...etc and join it

Is this for being the server side?

I'm only a client. Would this matter?
