I have a Linux server with TS2 installed correctly. I can access the webadmin page and I can see that the deamon is running. Also my port is listening on 8767
My problem arises from the fact that I cannot connect to it with the TS client. When I put in the IP to the TS server it tells me "TS may not be working or server is down".
I have actually read through ALL of the forums and have seen some postings to this nature, but no real help.

I do have the debug log going for the TS client and the TC server. The TS client says it is getting a timeout. I am connected via ethernet and not wireless. The server is operational, the IP is correct and the port is correct. I am stumped. If anyone needs any further info, please reply to this post. I need to get this up and going and any help would be welcomed.

Here is an email from my host:

Hello,

It seems that the udp port 8767 is open but the Teamspeak server is not listening
on it. Please contact the Teamspeak team directly and do let us know if there is
anything further to be done to install this correctly on a Linux server.

Also, the tss2_rc2 folder was outside your public_html folder. I have now moved
it to the public_html folder.

We will do all that we can to be of your assistance.
Thank you.

I would be appreciative for any assistance from the Teamspeak team or an individual who has encountered this problem and solved it.

can others connect to your server ?
You host the server on a rented webspace ?
