Iam don't think the private port shud be that but if i got it wrong iam sure one of you lot can tell me. :)

If i did get the port wrong can you tell me the right port plzzz. I know that the default Server port is 8767 but iam not sure about the private port.

I'm certainly no expert on ports... however, I seem to remember something about setting your port like this...

8767-8768

Thus, use the one you want open and the one following.

I may be waaaay out in left field on this one, but might be worth a try.

i see your troubles !!! use your lan ip the 192.168.x.x "NOT YOUR Current IP GIVEN BY ISP" QUOTE
you can got to your dos promt / command promt and type in "ipconfig" and read in the info line that states IP Address ...........: 192.168.x.x this is the ip you place in the port fowarding it thell the router to send all inpo inbound from out side your house on port 8767 to go to "X" pc "X" being the pc with ts server loaded

type in to the command prompt / dos prompt "ipconfig" on the computer with the ts server loaded ... place the ip it shows in the routers port fowarding ip block .

Btw, if your router is set to DHCP, your LAN IP will most likely change meaning your port forward rule will no longer be valid and work. You would find it beneficial to set the IP of the box hosting the TS server to static so that it will not change.

i can't find out the ip of the system hosting the server it just gives me 1 ip then i get the 10.0.0.7 ip which is different for every PC but that ip doesn't work

This is not entirly true, if your router has a DHCP the router would in most cases remember the MAC code for the PC it just gave the IP too..

So your Port forwarding will indeed work.

Or the Lan IP could be reserved

Or the computer can still be set to a static IP, even though the router is running DHCP
