Alright, no responses. Does this mean I am an idiot and the answer is right in front of me or is everyone as stumped as I am?

same errors here using redhat 7.2 with a sblive 5.1
The install.txt says run setup.sh and follow instructions
but ./setup.sh dies

I am working on a better installer.
In the meantime use search on this forum. Somewhere there is a nice description on installing ts2 manually.
IT involves doing an untar on 1 file and editing a script.

Works fine here on RedHat 8.
I suspect something is missing from your installs, MDK 8.1 and RedHat 7.2 are old distros now.
Do keep up :)
;) How about tar.gz? Or, if you insist on an installer just for the fashion police, keep it statically compiled, lean and simple please. =)

hmm I want an installer for 3 things.
1: Making menu items for kde/gnome
2: An uninstaller.
3: Im workiong on a delta system. So that upgrading ts will be a matter of Kbytes not Mbytes. Having and installer make it simpler. :p
=^_^= Well 1. and 2. work with ordinary packages as of now. For patching things, that would probably only work with source things. I think I know this delta thing from Unreal Tournament updates.
