Channels

G'day.

People have recently been logging into my server, and creating their own channels. While this is not a problem in its own way, I do not want it available. I would only like Server Admins that option.

Looking through everywhere on the Server, and through the client, Connection Info states that "Anyone can Crete Channels"

Is there a way that I can turn this option off, so that only Server Admins can do this?

Hi,

I found this in a German post:

Open your server.ini and edit ServerFlags where

0 = noone may register / noone may create channels
1 = players may register / noone may create channels
2: noone may register / anyone may create channels
3: players may register /anyone may create channels

Choose the flag which best suits your needs. I believe if noone is able to create a channel, server admins are allowed to do so though.
(I haven't tested this, but I'm quite sure it'll work :) )

BTW: Don't forget to restart your server after you changed the server.ini
