I know there is another way to do this but my question is this. When forwarding ports how do you set it to forward them for all machines? other then forwarding them per machine via the ip from the router? Do I simply have to make like 2 lines of forwards so that both machines are covered or is there another way? If it matters I have the linksys wireless g router model WRT54G. Example.....Teamspeak has port 8767 that I need to forward so I go to aplications and gameing and name it TS then place the ports on the next 2 lines and then on the last line I place the last 3 digits of the ip for the machine im on. On that last line I've been told that there is something you use to make it forward it for all machines on the network is this true? Any help is appreciated.
Mike
could you tell us if you are talking about the server or the client, that is VERY important !
Clients do not require a port forwarding, server do. You can't run 2 servers on the same port behind a NAT router, impartial if they're on the same machine or on two LAN PC's

that answer is simple: DO NOT use DHCP inside your LAN or if you must use it, configure your DHCP server that way, it always gives the same IP to the same PC.
=> keep it simple and use static IP's inside your LAN !

lol, you make it sound so simple :p - I don't think half the people that come here even know what the DHCP server is :D
But yes, that is correct.
where is the border, do we need to explain to people how to start up their PC's and manage their explorer, browsers,... to be able to install, run,... TS ?
We have to draw a line at a certain point and I gues DHCP is something you should at least have heared about when you wanne run a server => you should know where you can get more info about DHCP and should be able to set it the way you need it.
for the price of a plane ticket "round trip" and a few meals and a roof over my head i will set it up for ya only if you live near water i can/want to scuba dive in :) i just started a new biz "teamspeak help on the go" lol jk but serious u buy i fly lol
