I have read many Thread about possibly the same problem. One Time you are able to connect and then you are not able to connect, although you have change no settings.
Everyone encountering connection problems USE the DEBUG-MODE and check TSclientlog.txt in you TS directory. If you get this message:
DEBUG,ProcedureInfo,Client Open,Send LoginStep1
14-04-05 12:14:20,1012,DEBUG,ProcedureInfo,Client Open,Waiting for LoginStep2
14-04-05 12:14:23,1012,ERROR,ProcedureInfo,Client Open,Exception: Timeout on recv LoginStep2 wait
14-04-05 12:14:23,1604,WARNING,All,procedure TDICallBack.execute,"The operation had no effect." or "The device buffer overflowed and some input was lost." or "The device exists but is not currently attached." or "The change in device properties had no effect."
you have the same problem we do.
Myself and others have tried the following without any success:
-check recheck and bodycheck our Router and Firewall settings!
-use an older TS - Version
-used the ping and tracert command in DOS-Window (some connections show Timeouts some dont)
-tried a CAT5 connection instead of WLAN
-reinstalled TS client
-deletetd the hidden teamspeak.conf file
-YES, we, well most of us, have read the FAQ multiple times
-some suspected their ISP, but after reading the TS forum thoroughly I get the idea that the problem is a server-sided
I foung this in one of the Threads:
"After troubleshooting, i found that if he would reboot the server computer and Teamspeak server about 2 to 3 times, I could connect, unknown why this is happening because even when i couldnt connect others could, but for some reason if he kept restarting and we kept trying until i could connect, i would have no problems connecting/logging off/reconnecting to the server as long as it was not reset."
