Question/Voice Transmission

Greetings, Thank you in advance for your support.

For some odd reason, when I attempt talk via my microphone onto a TS Server, it does not function. For instance, it does not seem even to get a feed from the MIC.

However it does work with Hardware Test, Ventrillo, and other programs that require voice. It also has worked in the Past With Teamspeak.

(I'm going to go through all the Ideas I have so bare with me)

1: Setings->Sound Input/Output Settings
I'm not sure of your Voice Send Method.

If you have "Push to Talk", make sure you are pressing the key.. :rolleyes:

If you have "Voice Activation", adjust the setting close to whisper.


2: Settings->Options->Device Section
I'm not sure if you have 2 sound cards, if so make sure you have selected the proper Input Device. If you have 1 card, "Primary Sound Capture Drivers" should work, but I would test hardcoding the Device.

3: Settings->Options->Sound Driver Section
If all else fails, test using "Wave".

do you have voice rights on the server ? If you hear yourself in the self test in TS, your mic should be ok so I assume a voice right problem on the server you are.
Else please be more specific what you understand under "it's not working" (the thers do not hear you,...)
