Hello,

I couldn't find the answer of my problem in the existing thread, so please excuse me if it has already been posted.

I am running the teamspeak2 server on a windows system, whose IP changes each time the connection is reset. I use a dynamic IP dns so that my friends can access my server without needing to know my current ip. But i couldn't find how change the IP used by the team speak server. Currently, i have to update the ips manually.

Does anyone knows of an option to detect ip changes or a command line to force the ip update that i could run in a script?

In advance, thank you

Matthieu

Sry, WHAT is your question ? WHERE do you have to update your IP manually ?

Beside, acc. the FAQ, the displayed IP is only what the from TS offered service detected last time you started the server, not what IP the server uses. The server just listens on all IP interfaces attached to your PC.

I do understand your problem, but I am unaware of any way to make the TS server auto-detect changes in IP, and reconfigure it self for such use.

Your might able able to create a script that would do so, however you would likely have to run the script every time your IP changes. To ensure their is no misunderstanding as to this, this would apply only to IP's set manually in the server.ini.
