help

people cannot connect to my server. i running win xp and using a router. i have been switching the firewall on and off for people to try to connect. i know people have posted similar threads, but they seem to not be of much use to me and i tihnk i need some more specific help. so if anyone has any suggestions...plz! i am all ears. i have also treid to host other servers in the past. they dont seem to work either. can someone please help me?

you need to set port fowarding for info from the net to nit your router and be set to the correct pc on your lan ! read my sig for more info
