Problems with my mic.

I know this isnt entirely with TS but, my mic just stopped working, was working fine before. This happened to me before and then somehow worked again later, any idea what could have causes this?

useing XP ? xp seems to remember the last app to want sound card do a pc restart , then open ts , it should at that time remember the settings
