View Full Version : Can't Open Server.log

Hi,

I have a major problem! I cant open the server.log file that lets me find my password. I get the folowing error message "Couldn't display "/home/harrison/tss2_rc2/server.log". Im using Fedora core 4 and am a some what noob. I have also tryed logging on as root but it gave me the same error.

what tool are you using ?
That error msg isn't familar to me under Linux (PS: I don't know fedora)

root has certainly the right to open that file !

Well I found the answer to the problem! For some strange reason i couldent acess the file bc the ts server may have been blocking the file from acess for security reasons... but when i changed the file server.log to server.txt it worked. I dont know it the program gedit had the problem or sompthing else but it works now!!

Teamspeak really needs to update their manual for ts2. Just for the really big llinux noobs.
